Created by decree no. 20-064 of 28 May 2020. ANARPAM is a public agency in charge of geological research, mineral resources promotion and management of state's share in mining companies. ANARPAM also provides several types of services (explorations, laboratories and engineering) for the mining companies.

ANARPAM has technical resources to satisfy compagnies requirements and support the mining projects developments in Mauritania.
