HOW TO OBTAIN AN ELECTRONIC VISA (E-VISA)
TO ENTER MAURITANIA
Since January 5, 2025, Mauritania has implemented an electronic visa system (e-Visa) for all travelers subject to the visa requirement. Applications, which must be made before the traveler boards, are made exclusively online via the portal of the National Agency for the Population Register and Secure Titles here.
Simply fill out a form on the site above, provide a copy of a valid passport and an identity photo, then print the approval received. Visa fees are payable upon arrival, where a simple and quick biometric verification is carried out. The visa applicant can now choose the duration of the visa, namely 30, 90, 360 or 720 days with the possibility of multiple entries.
Sticker visas are no longer issued at the airport.
