Mr. Birame Souleye DIOP was appointed Minister of the highly strategic Ministry of Energy, Petroleum, and Mines by His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar FAYE. A tax and business inspector, he holds a key position on the team responsible for implementing the Project for a United, Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Senegal.

Academically, after completing his secondary studies at the Lycée Malick SY in Thiès, Mr. Birame Souleye DIOP was admitted to Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis. At Sanar, he brilliantly earned a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in law, before enrolling at the prestigious École nationale d'administration (ENA).

After this exemplary career, Mr. Birame Souleye DIOP began his professional career within the Senegalese administration. And thanks to his rigor and high sense of duty, he held important positions such as Head of the Dakar 1 Control Office, among other responsibilities.
