HE Mohamed Ould Bilal is trained as Principal Engineer Diploma in Hydraulic Development and obtained Master’s Degree in Management Sciences (Business Option) Fields of study Diagnosis, Audit, Organization, Business Evaluation Main Diagnosis and Financial Evaluation of Businesses at Institution MIT-UNIVERSITY Dakar Senegal. He received his PhD in Business Administration (DBA) in Mauritania Institution Business Science Institute Luxembourg in partnership with IAE Lyon.

 

Before he became Prime Minister on 6 August 2020, HE Mohamed Ould Bilal has held many positions and held important positions in key national companies, including:

 

Project Manager in the Office of the Prime Minister (February 2019 to August 6, 2020)

 

Responsibilities Senior consultant - MBMCONSULT design office - (April 2014 to December 2018)

 

General Director - Mauritanian Electricity Company (SOMELEC) (October 2013 to April 2014)

 

Managing Director of the Sanitation, Works, Transport and Maintenance Company (ATTM sa) - December 2010 to October 2013

 

Managing Director Arab Society of Metallurgical Industries (SAMIA), December 2008 to December 2010

 

Minister of Equipment, Town Planning and Housing (April 2007 to August 2008)

 

Director of Public Works at the Ministry of Equipment and Services (September 2005 to April 2007)

 

Director of Infrastructure at the Nouakchott Urban Development Agency (ADU) - September 2001 to September 2005

 

Director of Operations at the Micro-project Execution Agency within the Food Security Commission (March 2000 to September 2001)

 

Deputy Director in charge of the fight against poverty at the Food Security Commission (February 1996 to March 2000)

 

Head of Studies and Programming Department at the Development Aid Department of the Food Security Commission (May 1993 to February 1996)

 

Regional Coordinator in Assaba for the National Program of Micro Achievements “Food for Work” (February 1991 to May 1993)
