Pedro previously held roles at Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild and Linklaters LLC and was also a columnist at Diario Económico (Portuguese correspondent of the Financial Times) and from 2012 till 2017 he was the youngest Ambassador for Sovereign Order of Malta to Mozambique in charge of several humanitarian causes. Pedro studied Law at the Portuguese Catholic University in Lisbon, received a Post-graduate degree from Harvard Business School and a Masters in Business from the Portuguese Catholic University. Apart from his role in the Group, he is Board Member at Africa Power & Infrastructure Company (an investment fund targeting operational infrastructure assets in Africa) and a Board Member at SOCO Cabinda Ltd (owner of a 22% stake and co-operator in the North Cabinda onshore block in Angola in partnership with SOCO International).
