Holder of a PhD in Economics, Marcellin Ndong Ntah is Resident Chief Economist at the African Development Bank (ADB) and is in charge of the AfDB Liaison Office in Nouakchott - Mauritania. After teaching at the University for half a decade, he has been working for about ten years to promote social and economic progress in African countries. In this context, he first served the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as Economic Adviser before joining the African Development Bank in 2008 or has already held several important positions such as Chief Development Policy Economist. , Chief Operations Officer, etc. He has a perfect command of the theory and practices of economics. He is author of several articles on the macro / meso / micro-economy, economic growth, poverty, etc. He has overseen / contributed to the production of several AfDB operational policies and strategies, and several Notes for AfDB policy dialogue.
