Madonna Afiba Dolphyne is a Professional Translator and Multilingual Business/Development Consultant in English, French, Spanish and International Relations and very familiar with the African Region.  She has worked with the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo based in Kinshasa as Information Officer for the Office of Gender Affairs and then Contracts Officer in charge with various contracts in Kinshasa for the UN for the Contracts Office. She is very familiar with West, Central, East and South Africa.  

 

She has also worked extensively in West Africa and has been in charge with projects in Ghana, Mali, Chad, La Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, DRC, Oxfam GB as Research-into Use Coordinator for ASSAR project in Ghana and Mali, Transition International, a Consortium in The Netherlands, Program Consultant, Francophone Africa, Senegal, Chad and DRC for Reach for Change a Swedish NGO, Consular Officer for Morocco, The Netherlands Embassy RSO Office, Management Consultant for APDF an IFC Project, a Monitoring & and other International Organizations such DANIDA, USAID and other multilateral agencies. She has also extensive experience with the Oil & Gas industry and has worked with Schlumberger and Hess Ghana, participated as a Speaker in several international conferences and into the adoption of Small & Medium Scale Enterprises especially on extractives mining and oil and gas and has held a variety of positions from The United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo

She has a published a Paper for the United Nations University in Africa-INRA on Collaborative Governance i.e. a Paper on Social Policy and State Revenues in Mineral Rich countries in Africa and coauthored other papers on women entrepreneurship

She holds an MBA in Executive Management specializing in Women Entrepreneurship from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands; Degree in Translation from The School of Translators, Ghana in (English, French, Spanish, International Relations; a Higher Diploma in Spanish Language and Civilization from The Universidad de Madrid, Spain and a Diplome Superieure from Universite Cheikh Anta Diop, Dakar-Senegal; Performance Management Certificate from University of Stellenbosch, Cape town South Africa and also a  Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner. She is an active member of several international Professional Associations.
