Mr Fall N'Guissaly an economist by training, holds a Master's degree in Economics, option Planning and Development (1984) from the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar.
He started his career in 1985 at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and of Development where he successively held the positions of Head of Service, Deputy Director of Planning, Director of Planning, Project Manager to the Minister and Economic Adviser in charge of Private Sector Promotion. From November 1998, he was appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister, in charge of the Economic Action Sector.
After being, for more than a decade (1999-2010), Managing Director of AMEXTIPE, a delegated contracting authority for infrastructure projects financed by the World Bank (IDA), the German cooperation (KFW) , the AfDB and the Mauritanian State, Mr. FALL will occupy the position of Wali (Governor) of Nouakchott between 2010 and 2014.
He will take up the position of General Manager of the National Water Company (SNDE) from July 2014 before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Mauritanian Hydrocarbons and Mining Corporation (SMHPM) in January 2017.
During these years spent in the administration, Mr FALL held several other positions, including those of Alternate Governor for Mauritania at the World Bank Group, Alternate Governor for Mauritania at the African Bank of Development of IFAD Governor-General for Mauritania, Board member in several institutions such as SOGEM (OMVS), SNIM, SONADER, ENER ....
